DON'S PHILOSOPHY
and a FEW OF HIS QUOTES

       I'm 59 now and I have been blessed throughout my life by being exposed to foreign men and women who speak different languages, worship in different religious structures, and emanate out of different social structures.  Many years ago, I realized a dream of mine after I had practiced law for a while, to enter the area of immigration law and work relatively full time helping and assisting people from all over the world.  As such, I came to believe in this:

We all have a right to be here.
To live and enjoy life to its fullest.
We are all in this experience together.
We should love each other and realize
we are all
  God's kids.

  The earth is our playground; we are entitled to our beliefs
in God or lack thereof.
We share the same sky, air, clouds and sunshine,
stars and moon with each other.

         We share a common perception of being.  We all hurt and at times feel alone.
        We have all received help from others.  We are born dependent and require
      love and support.  Who says it stops?  It doesn't!  Our beliefs may be different; and our
                perceptions of art and architecture and our customs may be unique,  but we all have arms to
reach out and hold others not ourself.   We have feet to travel and experience the diversity of our
human way of life.
Let love be our goal and acceptance
our motto.

                            The color of our skin may match the color of coral or the hue of sunlight or the shore of a deserted beach.
                We are all needed here to be ourselves and touch others and remember our history and traditions.
Let go, relax, and finally, smile

There are thoughts in my mind that lie beside my memory;
They run thither and yon; they rub together like dice.
on a velvet table.
They create harmony of thought;
They bless one another with wisdom, or,  perhaps fall uneven like straws on a table.
In all, it's a magnificent creation of self and spontaneous thought.

We are instruments played by the melancholies of time.

We live in two planes, one birth (with time)

and the other eternal (of the spirit),

so, death loosens the coils of time,

but, affects not the eternal spirit.

.

As much as the miracle of our birth is unknown to us,

so the reason for our death will be revealed to us in the end.

we are all the same people, separated only by time
